  1. This is the best blog. I have a million emails from so many places. Its great to see them all compiled one place.

We might be going with the Carondelet House. Its very cute and perfect for our 45 person wedding. I'd like to bring our own caterer. It will probably save loads of money than going with Tres LA.

    1. Hi I noticed you mentioned it being cheaper to bring another caterer and was wondering if you happened to know how expensive Tres LA is? Thanks.

    2. Thanks for the comment, Divina! Did you end up getting your own caterer? Would you mind writing a paragraph review of your experience at the CH for our readers? I know they'd love to hear it!

    3. It's very cute for a 45 person wedding? It's $16k just to walk in the door. Every other frill is required, and nickle-and-dimed at that. No thank you.

  3. Amazing! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a totally different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout and design. Superb choice of colors!

  4. My fiance and I went to their open house and their 2014 prices are increasing by $1,000:
    Saturday
    • $6,500 for 10 hours (Outside Caterer)
    • $5,500 for 10 hours (In-House Tres L.A. Catering)
    All Other Days
    • $5,500 for 10 hours (Outside Caterer)
    • $4,500 for 10 hours (In-House Tres L.A. Catering)

Also, in previous sample menus, dessert was including in the catering fee. Now dessert is extra per person.

    2. We're still looking. Do you think you can do a sub-category/blog for caterers' pricing as well? I think that'd be really helpful especially if you have affordable venues that allow outside catering.

  5. I stumbled across this venue in my search and fell in love. Unfortunately, it's booked just about all the way through 2014. Every Saturday in May is booked. If I can't have my wedding here, I'll see if we can take our engagement photos here. The venue is so lovely.

  6. Absolutely beautiful venue!! The environment was unbelievable. The use of wood throughout the place adds a very warm and inviting feel to venue. I was simply amazed at the architecture!
