UPDATE: We chose the Maxwell House!! (in Pasadena)

Hi everyone! I didn't know so many people would read and like my blog. I mostly used it as a way to organize myself, but I'm glad others are benefitting from it! We went with the Maxwell House in Pasadena.  (That's us in the photo!)

2600 for the whole day (and rehearsal dinner), AND you can bring your own caterer and booze, AND it's head and shoulder above anything we checked out in the less than 3k range. Victory! I don't have time to post all the pics I've found of Maxwell House weddings yet, but I will one days... and in October, I'll post pics of my wedding! Thanks for reading.

UPDATE: Here's the link to our photographer's wedding photos. We LOVED the venue.

  1. Thanks for the update! I was wondering which one you picked.

This blog has been very helpful to me in planning my own wedding. For some reason, places like to be coy about what their actual charges are.

    3. I should add that his prices have probably gone up now that he's getting more established in the industry. But he has a great team!
