Venue #85: The Green Street Hotel / Romanesque Room (Pasadena, CA)





I originally found this hotel when I was looking up haunted venues for my friend. Supposedly, this room has a history, or at least the Green Street Hotel does.  The rental fee is not bad, but you will have to use their catering.   But look how pretty!





Thank you for inquiring about The Romanesque Room for your wedding.  The Romanesque Room is one of the most unique Venues in Southern California.  Besides being uniquely beautiful it offers the utmost in versatility to accommodate your planning…all this at an exceptional Rental Fee.

Here is some general information for your review:

      Capacity:         250 guests with dancing

      Rental Fees:

                     Saturday - $2,500                                                                 
                     Friday or Sunday - $2,000                                                            
                     Weekdays - $1,500                                                          

                    (Rental Fee includes tables and Chiavari Chairs)

A deposit of ½ of the room rental fee is required to reserve the room.

Food Service:  Castle Catering is on site and provides the service for events held at The Romanesque Room.

Castle Catering’s Restaurant Partners Program is a new concept in food service for group events and weddings.  Castle Catering has partnered with many local restaurants to provide the food for events that Castle Catering services.  This provides our clients with a variety of food and pricing options.

Here’s how it works:

Ø  Castle Catering owner, Ron Hobbs, will meet with you to discuss your specific event/wedding needs and provide event planning services.
Ø  Castle Catering will review your food service needs, event objectives and “vision”.  We will discuss your desired cuisine and budget, and then arrange for you to meet with the appropriate Restaurant Partner that best matches your planning requirements.  You meet with the restaurant’s event representative to select your menu.
Ø  Castle Catering will coordinate directly with your selected restaurant for food delivery.  Then Castle Catering’s professional staff receives the food in our commercial kitchen.  We supply all equipment, set up, bar service (host may provide their own alcohol), service of food, breakdown and clean up.

The fee for Castle Catering service is $40 – 50 per person. This fee includes equipment, labor, bar service, tax and gratuity.

Then you add the cost for food which ranges from $10 – 30 per person.


ADD TO THE ABOVE:

  • Rental Fee of Facility - $2500 (Saturday), $2000 (Friday / Sunday), $1500 (weekdays).  Rental fee includes tables and Chiavari chairs.   A deposit of ½ the room rental fee is required to reserve the room. Ceremonies can be held in the room.  There is a $250 ceremony fee.

Please let us know if you have any questions or want to make an appointment.  Our normal business hours are 9 AM to 5 PM during the week, but we often stay later to meet with clients.  If our event schedule permits it, we also take appointments on Saturday.
